How to Care for Sterling Silver Jewelry
Daily Wear
Sterling .95 silver is built to be worn, not stored away. Put your piece on after applying perfume, lotion, and hairspray chemicals in these products accelerate tarnish. Remove jewelry before swimming, showering, or exercising to avoid exposure to chlorine, salt water, and sweat.
Cleaning
For light cleaning, wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear. For deeper cleaning, use a silver polishing cloth or a small amount of mild dish soap in warm water rinse thoroughly and dry immediately with a soft cloth. Never use abrasive materials or ultrasonic cleaners.
Storage
Store each piece individually in an airtight bag or the original gift box to minimize exposure to air and humidity. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat. A small anti-tarnish strip inside the box will extend the time between polishes.
